1. The Hanging pillar at lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh



Location: lepakshi, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, India.


The mysterious place was built in the 16th century, the architectural style of the temple is in the Vijayanagara style. It has carvings and paintings at almost every surface of the temple. In the lepakshi temple, one of the pillars is Aakasa Sthambha or Hanging Column. This pillar is not placed in the floor and it is attached in the ceiling. It looks like a pillar is floating. The height of the pillar is nearly 70 ft has been dislodged. It is superstitious beliefs by the people. During the British era, a British Armies tried to move it in order to uncover the secret of its support but all his efforts were useless. It is an ancient pillar that defines gravity and is hanging in mid-air.

The Ghost Lights of West Bengal have been unnatural glowing lights of different colors hovering over the marshes in west bengal. The swamps and marshes of Bengal have long been haunted by mysterious lights floating around in the darkness. This light is known as  the 'Aleya Lights' from many years now. These lights are a nightmare for fishermen, as they usually end up confusing them and they would lose their way. The Sunderbans is said to be one of the places where the Aleya Ghost Lights live and prey upon those who dare to venture out in the darkness. In many cases are reported till now, because various fishermen have even lost their lives due to these unusual lights. Their deaths have gone unanswered.

Twin Town is a small village in the district of Malappuram in Kerala, India. This Village of Kodinhi is located about 15 miles from the Malappuram city. It has one of the highest rates of twins in the world. Kodinhi has a number of unusual twins. In the Village, 2000 people live, there are 204 pairs of twins. It was one of the mysteries in the world. The doctors have been studying the medical marvel of the Kodinhi. 5. Snake Village of Maharashtra

In this village, the smallest of families has a specific area named "Devasthan" assigned where the snake may come and take rest and bless the family.The people in this village treat the snake as pets and family members. The people feed the snake as milk, egg and lots of good will. The children have no fear of playing with snakes when bored. Very interesting things are till now, not a single case has been reported of snake bites in this village. The people never kill the snakes nor do they live in fear.
